If I want to change clubs during a season, do I need a clearance and if so, what is the process?

Yes, you do need a clearance from Goldeagles if you want to leave the club and join a new club. The process to request a clearance during the season requires approval from the Goldeagles Committee and is to be signed by two committee members. A clearance form is to be completed and sent to the Goldeagles PO Box or handed to a Committee member personally. If it is posted, please send an email to info@goldeagles.asn.au advising that you have sent it. Following Goldeagles committee approval, the signed from is then sent to CSWNA who vote on it at their next committee meeting. Goldeagles is then sent a letter advising of the outcome.

It is only after the clearance form has been signed by two Goldeagles' Committee members at a committee meeting that a player cannot continue to play with the club.

Please note: CSWNA generally does not support clearances mid way through a season unless there are extenuating circumstances. It can be disruptive to teams and can alter the division a team has been graded in to by removing or adding a stronger player, for instance.
